Key initiatives include facilitating the Hull KR Amsterdam Challenge and boosting rugby league’s exposure through his company, RunItStraight. Craig Shepherd, an experienced leader in disability sports, has driven inclusive Rugby League initiatives, including Physical and Wheelchair Rugby League. As CEO of Disability Sport Yorkshire and former foundation CEO at Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity, he’s developed programs, raised funds, and built partnerships to promote accessibility. Passionate about equality, Craig’s expertise in strategy and impact aligns with the NRLB’s mission of inclusion.

Based in Australia with proud Dutch heritage, Damon Koolstra made his debut for the Netherlands in 2022, playing a key role in securing a victory against Spain. Drawing on his extensive rugby experience from his time with the Souths Sharks Mackay, Damon brings immense skill and knowledge to the game. He is passionate about promoting and developing core rugby league skills in the Netherlands while building the sport’s brand back in Australia, creating strong ties between the two rugby communities.
